Katherine Scharff is the Director of Teacher Education at Sophia’s Hearth and has also worked as a Waldorf school administrator. She is also a preschool and parent-child teacher at the Waldorf School of Saratoga, New York as well as a Simplicity Parenting Family Life Coach. As well as being a Waldorf graduate herself, Katherine has completed the Sophia’s Hearth full Waldorf teacher education program and additional training in the Pikler approach. Katherine also has a background in nursing and specialized training in the Anthroposophical approach to nursing. Katherine is the mother of three grown children. She has a great love for the outdoors; which means you will find her in the garden, hiking, biking, paddling, or in the forest with children.
