Parent-Infant Class
Parent-child classes at Sophia’s Hearth Family Center provide a supportive and welcoming environment for both children and caregivers. We encourage freedom of movement and self-initiated play for the children, while moms, dads, and caregivers will practice the art of observation.
Each week we discuss a brief article on child growth and development. We touch on themes such as rhythm and routine, exploring freedom of movement, feeding, caregiving, and sleep habits. We also have the opportunity to learn from one another and are strengthened through sharing our common experiences.
Parents, caregivers and children also enjoy learning finger and touching games, and songs from an experienced teacher.
We invite children birth to walking and their caregivers to our play-based educational program.
